The City Clerk’s office is the central source of public records for City government as well as the historian for the entire recorded history of the City. As the central source of public records, the City Clerk prepares agendas for and attends and records all City Council meetings, prepares public notices, maintains the City’s municipal code, serves as filing officer for the Fair Political Practices Commission as well as the City’s election officer for municipal elections, and the custodian of the City Seal. The City Clerk is elected by the citizens of Colusa for a four (4) year term. |
